Jewelry Care

As with everything else, your plated jewelry will tarnish over time. Plated jewelry is usually a thin layer of gold or silver over a base metal. Gentle cleaning is recommended as to not remove the plating. Such as soaking your plated jewelry in a small bowl of warm water and a couple drops of mild dish soap for a couple of minutes. A soft bristled brush or cotton swab can be used to gently remove dirt buildup from crevices. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and dry completely with a clean microfiber cloth. Included with your jewelry is a black non-tarnish square that will delay tarnish. Your piece can be kept in the bag it comes in with this square. It can also be put in a closed jewelry box. Wearing plated jewelry in any form of water is not recommended.
